Red Seaweed Exploration - SMART:SCOT

In 2023, Marivate was awarded a grant by the Scottish Government to advance research and develop proof-of-concept solutions for hatchery-grown Red Seaweeds, including Palmaria palmata and Porphyra dioica at a large scale. This project is being conducted in parallel with our ongoing seeding operations, and we are eager to explore ways to empower seaweed farmers in cultivating the highly sought-after red seaweed at scale.
